Install the iSign extension

This extension lets you sign iSign contracts digitally from other websites, without leaving them.

Not in the store yet
It is still in testing, so it is not on the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons. Install it manually as shown below; this page will link to the store once it is published.

What you need

  • Chrome 116+ or Edge 116+. It does not work in Firefox or Safari.
  • The digital signature desktop app must be installed and running.
  • You need an iSign account.

Installation steps(Chrome)

  1. 1

    Download the extension package

Download the ZIP above and unzip it. Do not delete the unzipped folder — the browser runs the extension from it.

  2. 2

    Open chrome://extensions

Type chrome://extensions in the address bar.

  3. 3

    Turn on “Developer mode”

Turn on the “Developer mode” switch in the top-right corner.

  4. 4

    “Load unpacked”

Click it and choose the unzipped folder. You are done when “iSign — Digital signature” appears in the list.

Manually installed extensions do not update themselves
When a new version is released, repeat the steps above or update from chrome://extensions.

After installing

The extension only activates on partner sites registered with iSign. The “Sign” button starts working there — it is normal that nothing appears on this page.
